really? we are on week 22 already? wow!
Here is a peek at my life this week
Day 145/365 - Sunday was Memorial Day Sunday, a time to reflect on all who have fought for our freedom and to BBQ and eat Crawfish apparently - this was our 3rd pool party invite of the weekend
Day 146/365 - Buster our Boston Terrier, hanging in the kitchen on this stormy Memorial Day, his eyes are saying "whatcha doing"?
Day 147/365 - Tuesday and it hasn't stopped raining for over 24 hours, heavy Texas rain, my grass is flooded and marshy
Day 148/365 - Texas Chocolate Sheet cake for breakfast with my neighbors, yes please
Day 149/365 - Hello ! How do you like my green pool after all the rain we have had here in Texas
Day 151/365 - My boy's passport arrived, Scotland here we come. Can't wait for our summer trip back to stunning Scotland, my heart misses it so much

Buster! He's the best dog ever.
ReplyDeleteWish we were going to Scotland with you. :)
Buster is loved by everyone he meets, I love that you love him. Wish you were going too, how fun would that be?
DeleteLove the pool shot - very brave leaning over! The crawfish sound tasty too :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, the pool shot is my favourite this week :)
DeleteLove the shot with Buster! Your green pool looks interesting, great photo too. How exciting, a trip back to Scotland :)
ReplyDeleteI am really excited to be going back to Scotland Sara, it's been 3 years since our last visit
DeleteHope you have a fab holiday in Scotland
ReplyDeleteThanks Angela, we are all excited
Deletefab round up, that chocolate cake looks delicious, yay to passport arriving x
ReplyDeleteThe cake was delicious, anything chocolate and I am there lol
DeleteYay to a visit in Scotland! Love the grass and pool shots! Why are blades of grass thicker in the US?! ;) #365
ReplyDeleteI think its because they need to have more hardy and thicker blades for the heat here in Texas, that is St.Augustine grass, it really is thicker than our British variety grass
Deletewow you have been super busy! not good on all that rain! i hope you have a drier week this week!
ReplyDeleteIt has been way drier this week
DeleteBuster looks very like my Boston, Buddha! Have a grand trip home.
ReplyDeleteAwe I love the name Buddha, its perfect for a Boston :)
DeleteI love the pool photo. And the chocolate cake looks good!
ReplyDeleteThanks Helen, I loved how the pool one turned out
DeleteHow exciting a trip back home, where abouts in Scotland you visiting? Your legs look like they may have had a bit to much sun in picture 147, our grass looks like that regularly, at least it is nice and green unlike some I see on here come the summer. The pool picture is fab, makes a great colour for a photo.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elaine, we are beside ourselves, its been 3 years since our last visit, I am from Dunfermline in Fife and most of our family are still there
DeleteLove Buster's pleading look. Stunning dog! Don't much like the colour of your pool though :-(
ReplyDeletelol the pool is so bad, but getting sorted as we speak, a blue pool pic will be coming soon ha!
DeleteThe shot of Buster is just too adorable. And love your pool 'selfie' :)
ReplyDeleteBuster is good at the "face" - he is an expert
Deleteawww your dog has the cutest little face! and look at that Texas chocolate cake yum! and a summer in Scotland - i hope the sun shines for you . have a safe trip x
ReplyDeleteI hope it shines too, but if not i dont mind, Scotland is stunning no matter what
DeleteHope the Scottish weather is nice to you this summer. I love your wee dog.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sabrina, I am excited about the trip.
