Project 365 A photo a day - Weekly update (wk13)

Oh my ... It has been a busy week again

I am still loving spending every minute with my Sis and her boyfriend and therefore neglecting my blog

Cooking has also taken a back seat, but don't worry there will be more to come

For now, sit back, relax and enjoy my week in feet photos "From where I stand"

Day 82/365 - My Sister brought a boomerang from Australia for my boy, today we went to the park to try it out.... what fun!

Day 83/365 - This is not sand... this is oak tree pollen in my driveway, the place is covered in the stuff,  allergies ahoy !!!

Day 84/365 - Enjoying a whisky and a movie on a Tuesday evening, yes please !

Day 85/365 - Today we went to the Menil Collection Downtown, it was wonderful, unfortunately no photos allowed inside but we found this great piece in the park outside

Day 86/365 - Shopping today, my sister bought the crazy suitcase on the left, I found a prelit palm tree on clearance and something I have been looking for - a deer head mount in gold. It was a funny collection of things

Day 87/365 - Back Downtown today to the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, it was "fabulous darling" as we perused the paintings and sat on the floor in front of this Picasso for my daily "feet" photo... I love that my Sis and boyfriend get so into my feet photo escapades and go with the flow even with everyones glances !

Day 88/365 - Let sleeping dogs lie, Buster is having a nap

Welcome to week 12 of Project 365

So I am in full swing loving every moment with my sister and her partner being here in Texas

We are embracing the culture, food and fun that Houston has to offer

Here is a round up of where my feet have taken me this week

Day 75/365 - At the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on Sunday, we had a great time

Day 76/365 - Red wine time

Day 77/365 - Hanging in the driveway, playing basketball and chillin' on a beautiful warm evening

Day 78/365 - My sister and I have different mango preparing techniques, her's is awesome, I have learned something new today

Day 79/365 - Funnel Cake at the Rodeo tonight, we went back to see the Rodeo and the concert with Blake Shelton, so fun

Day 80/365 - A great day out at NASA Johnson Space Center, Houston - rockets, moon landings and fun times

Day 81/365 - Diet coke is my vice, what can I say.....

This has been a great week

Spring Break in the USA means my little guy was off school for a whole week

We had fun going to the movies, playing at bounce places and visiting with friends

then to top off the end of a great week we went to the airport to pick up my sister and her partner, they came all the way from Australia to visit us in Texas (yes me and my sis both left Scotland and now live on the opposite ends of the earth - where did we get our wandering gene from? well from a great grandmother that we found on ancestry.com of course)

So here is where I have travelled this week with my feet

Day 68/365 - Daylight savings here in the USA last night, why do I have so many clocks? My little fur helper was getting in on the action

Day 69/365 - First official day of Spring break, and my little guy wanted out the geotrax train set

Day 70/365 - My boy and me went to the movies today to see Mr Peabody and Sherman, its a great little film, with a great story and a history lesson or two in there

Day 71/365 - Our tile guy let us down, so hubs and I took the bull by the horns and started to tile the kitchen back splash ourselves, here is my input, smoothing the new Sheetrock board with some plaster, go me !! girls can DIY big style too

Day 72/365 - the soft play floor at Bouncing Bears today was really bright and colouredful, I love photos with my little 6 year old and his feet

Day 73/365 - Friday night and we picked up my sis and her boyfriend from the airport, they came armed with goodies for us to enjoy, we love visitors that bring gifts of food (bring on two weeks of fun, shopping, food and Texas culture)

Here it is, Week 10 of "From where I stand"

Week 10!!!!!!!!

woohoo, I am proud to be still going strong on this

I am loving every minute of documenting the hum drum and the missed minutes in a day, as that is what most of my photos are

they are not necessarily the big events in a day but a small snippet and that is what I love about doing this the most

So here are where my feet have taken me this week

Day 61/365 - Watching the Oscars, I love awards shows (hey Brad Pitt I am over here, yoo hoo)

 Day 62/365 - Pizza for dinner, I was starting to not feel good, sore throat and stuffy nose, so no cooking for me

Day 63/365 - Hubs asked me to fill his truck as he still couldn't drive after falling off his bike while cycling and training to do the MS150 at the weekend - we are a pair! me with my sinus infection and him with his cuts and grazes

 Day 64/365 - third day of sinus infection, I am determined to not go and get antibiotics, so hot lemon and honey it is

Day 65/365 - Hubs had an awards dinner so he was out,  so my boy requested McDonald's for dinner,  why does junk food become so appealing when I have been ill, on the upside my sinuses are clearing slightly (Hello Big Mac)

 Day 66/365 - So after eating like a junk food train all week, I decided to jumped on the "pulling oil" craze to see if it will help my sinuses and other immune and thyroid issues I have been having - it's early days but we will see

Day 67/365 - Chillin' having breakfast while waiting on my Sister in Australia to wake up so we can Facetime, she will be here in less than a week with her boyfriend, I am so excited - by the way I have a long wait, its 8.50am with me on Saturday and 12.50am on Sunday with her, wake up!!!!!

So this week, I have let my blogging fall to the way side

I have been concentrating more on my furniture painting and so sometimes its hard to get that happy medium where it all gets attention

But one thing that hasn't gone by undone is my photo a day, where my feet take me

here is a round up of my feet this week

 Day 54/365 - Waiting on my boy getting a haircut, he is such a big boy now I let him do all the talking

 Day 55/365 - in the parking lot at Fins, before we go in to my boy's Monday night swimming lesson

Day 56/365 - Making tacos for dinner tonight

 Day 57/365 - Shopping for fruit and veg in Sprouts - I love this place (boots back on and a coat - it's cold again)

 Day 58/365 - snuggled up on the couch with the Hubs staying warm this evening under a blankie

 Day 59/365 - In Ace Hardware to use the post office located inside. The floor in Ace is covered in all these cute transfers "Place feet here" ok then... I will

Day 60/365 - Enjoying a relaxing Saturday morning with my boy playing Monopoly waiting on a handyman to show up to work on some tiling in the house today
