I am loving this 365 Project, From where I stand

and each week keeps getting faster and faster

really? we are on week 22 already? wow!

Here is a peek at my life this week

Day 145/365 - Sunday was Memorial Day Sunday, a time to reflect on all who have fought for our freedom and to BBQ and eat Crawfish apparently - this was our 3rd pool party invite of the weekend

Day 146/365 - Buster our Boston Terrier, hanging in the kitchen on this stormy Memorial Day, his eyes are saying "whatcha doing"?

Day 147/365 - Tuesday and it hasn't stopped raining for over 24 hours, heavy Texas rain, my grass is flooded and marshy

Day 148/365 - Texas Chocolate Sheet cake for breakfast with my neighbors, yes please

Day 149/365 - Hello ! How do you like my green pool after all the rain we have had here in Texas

Day 150/365 - In the building where I jazzercise, there is a Ballroom that puts out a red carpet when they are having functions, today was one of those days, I always feel special parading to jazzercise along the red carpet

Day 151/365 - My boy's passport arrived, Scotland here we come. Can't wait for our summer trip back to stunning Scotland, my heart misses it so much

Day 138/365 - a little bit of furniture painting is good for my soul, my happy place

Day 139/365 - The pretty floor in my Doctors office

Day 140/365 - watering the plants this evening and I remembered our cute little hand prints we did in 2012

Day 141/365 - to wind down in the evening I like playing games on my ipad

Day 142/365 - Helping out my boy's teacher today, I love doing stuff like this, its the organizer in me! but I really seriously do enjoy it

Day 143/365 - A nice healthy snack this evening, fresh cut coconut. Power tools get used to open these things in this house. A husband, a drill and an axe, I kid you not !!!

Welcome back to my 365 photo a day project 

What a great week, starting with Mother's day here in the USA on Sunday, it was a perfect mix of relaxation and fun, with breakfast in bed and lunch and dinner out, what more could a mum ask for

The rest of the week was the usual hum drum of life, taking in the sights and sounds of life, a bit of Jazzercise, work and play and lunch with my great friends and neighbors on Thursday

Day 131/365 - Reading to my boy in bed - a perfect end to a perfect Mother's Day here in Texas

Day 132/365 - This little guy was back at my front door this morning, Hello Mr Box Turtle

Day 133/365 - Oak tree reflection in the puddles in my driveway today

Day 134/365 - I am still so in love with this bathroom cabinet we installed in our bathroom makeover

Day 135/365 - Out to lunch with some great ladies today

Day 136/365 - Shower time, our shower is so big you can wash the car in it lol

Day 137/365 - at the garden center with my boy

Hey all! Welcome back to my weekly update of "From Where I stand"

Thanks for following where my feet take me week by week, I am enjoying this little daily project quite a bit and will be getting back into some fine Scottish cooking shortly, so hang in there cooking fans

This week has been a fun week of socialising and relaxing, what can be better?

Day 124/365 - a fun filled day out with friends at the OTC Crawfish boil at The University of Houston today, I am getting into this Louisiana delicacy more and more each year

Day 125/365 - Up late making Lasagne for tomorrow night's dinner, 2nd day Lasagne is always better right?

Day 126/365 - Catching some relaxation today on the patio on this glorious sunny Tuesday, after working on planting flowers

Day 127/365 - In honour of Mother's day here in the USA on Sunday we are heading to "ice cream with mom" this evening at my boy's elementary school, I love this little pathway of engraved bricks, I even know a few of the names on here

Day 128/365 - Every Thursday I volunteer in my boy's classroom, on my way in every week I pass these cute numbered lines outside the main entrance of the school for the car rider lines - today I stopped and photographed them 

Day 129/365 - "Jazzercise is Here" Yes it is!! I love my "almost" daily fix of Jazzercise and its made even better with friends

Day 130/365 - Gaming with my 7 year old today (coolest mom ever)

What a beautiful week, I have managed to get outdoors and work in the garden and yard, tidying and planting new things, the weather has been amazing here in Texas, just perfect

It has been a fun week, where I visited a friend during the week and then we finished it on Saturday with my boy's Children's Art Festival, where he sang in the Auditorium of the Local high School

How was your week?

Day 117/365 - Hubs brought home praying mantis babies, we let them free in the garden, apparently they are a great natural pest control

Day 118/365 - I am loving Springtime right now, look at my climbing rose, its stunning this year - so many blooms

Day 119/365 - Getting the lawn ready for summer, watering and feeding

Day 120/365 - I visited my good friend today, I love her Texas stepping stone in her back garden

Day 121/365 - Now it's time to kill the ants, fire ants are such a pest here in Texas, spread, water then wait .....

Day 122/365 - my parents sent me Scottish daisy seeds, here they are, in their third year and finally flowering, daisies are my favourite flower

Day 123/365 - Hubs and I at the Children's art festival, hello !!!!
