Project 365 A photo a day - Weekly update (wk5)

What a week!

I have had a mystery stomach virus that floored me this week and its been another crazy weather week in Texas.

For a Scottish girl like me its hard not to raise an eyebrow and scoff at the decision to have yet another day off school for my boy with no snow! I mean yes it got cold, but no snow, no ice storms or no freezing rain. It's bizarre, but you know, I am thankful to be in Texas when I see other parts of the Country suffering through this insane winter and it was nice to snuggle and watch movies on Tuesday for our "snow day"

So lets get started with my "From where I stand" photos this week

Day 26/365 - A nice lazy Sunday, my boy and I finally got around to using one of his Santa presents from Christmas - we made balloon animals. This was a first for me, with a bit of help from the little book in the pack and YouTube, I made some dogs and a sword

Day 27/365 - We bought a new living room rug at the weekend, so it was nice to finally test it out and make the decision that it's a keeper - we love it, it's so plush and sheepy

Day 28/365 - Enjoying the 'snow day' with a Star Wars movie and a snuggle on the couch

Day 29/365 - After having a stomach virus most of the week, I felt better and went shopping for food. Never shop on an empty stomach after a stomach virus, I was feeling hungry at that moment and went bananas

Day 30/365 - Back in the grocery store - yes I forgot something even with the mammoth shopping the day before, isn't it always the case?

Day 31/365 - Chilling watching my boy play in the evening

Day 32/365 - February 1st already! Hello breakfast :) Glad I am finally feeling better after my crazy stomach bug all week

  7. Love your new rug! Looks really snuggly, like a good place to wrap up with a blanket and a pillow, and watch a movie on a snow day. I bet Buster loves it!
